One key area of research that can inform treatment and public policy involves juvenile offending and, specifically, adolescent contact offenses.

We have long known that adolescents who commit crime should not be treated as adults. This study compiles data from long term longitudinal studies to identify risk factors for justice involved youth.

It also provides rationale for suggestions for changes at all levels to promote best adult outcomes for justice involved youth.

  1. Come to understand 6 individual level risk factors for adolescent offending
