Many people have sexual interests or sexual fantasies they do not act upon. Understanding what factors may predict acting upon paraphilic interests, particularly illegal ones is significant both clinically as well as for public safety. The study this course focuses on, “When Kinks Come to Life: An Exploration of Paraphilic Behaviors and Underlying Predictors,” assesses the personality factors in the dark tetrad and their ability to predict engaging in paraphilic behaviors.

This is an accredited course designed for Licensed Professional Counselors to earn Continuing Education Hours, or LPC CEHs
