Course Description
Viewing Reaction Time (VRT) is often used as a diagnostic tool of pedophilia in risk assessments and treatment of individuals who have sexually offended.
This study originates from Project Dunkelfeld, a self-referring program for individuals who have sexual interest in children or fear they will sexually offend against children.
The aim was to assess whether or not the VRT paradigm was an appropriate diagnostic tool for pedophebephilia in a non-forensic population. It also assessed whether the VRT results were correlated with measures of risk such as the STABLE-2007, ACUTE-2007 and the SSPI.
This is an accredited course designed for Licensed Professional Counselors to earn Continuing Education Hours, or LPC CEHs
