Course Description

Sexual aggression continues to be a problem in our culture. This study looks at sexual narcissism to see how it is associated with sexual aggression strategies used by individuals who engage in different types of sexual aggression.
The study included male and female college students who are asked to complete measures relating to both Sexual Initiation Strategies and Sexual Narcissism. It then discusses how sexual narcissism and sexual aggression are related as well as how this information can be used for prevention of sexual assault.
This is an accredited course designed for Licensed Professional Counselors to earn Continuing Education Hours, or LPC CEHs
Learning Objectives
Participants will:
- Come to understand the components of sexual narcissism.
- Be able to define sexual exploitation and sexual entitlement.
- Be able to identify the tactics of sexual aggression in the Sexual Initiation Strategies Scale.
