Course Description
The majority of research on Compulsive Sexual Behavior Disorder (CSBD) or sexual addiction has been conducted with white, heterosexual, male participants. There is a lack of research on CSBD in women.
This lack of research on CSBD in women may skew the clinical understanding of the disorder in women.
This research paper looks specifically at CSB in women and ascertains the behavioral and demographic correlations in the population.
This is an accredited course designed for Licensed Professional Counselors to earn Continuing Education Hours, or LPC CEHs
Learning Objectives
Participants will:
- Learn the prevalence of compulsive sexual behavior in women in this study
- Come to understand what behaviors are correlated with CSB in women
- Come to understand what demographic characteristics of women are not correlated with compulsive sexual behavior
