Course Description

This article discusses the results of a research study of the preferences of pornography viewers regarding male ejaculation, or the “Money Shot,” in pornography videos. It discusses the results of this study in light of feminist theory on current pornography practices as well as with current trends on the pornography production industry. The key takeaway for most of the feminists discussed is, “as long as it’s not on the face.”

Learning Objectives

The student will:

  1. Learn the basis of feminist objections to mainstream pornography
  2. Learn the current trends in pornography videos in relation to male orgasm
  3. Understand who the results of this study support or reject current thinking and practices about pornography
