Stephanie Figueroa is a pre-licensed therapist specializing in sexual addiction and compulsive sexual behaviors. She holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Trauma Studies. With a professional foundation in corrections, she developed a deep understanding of accountability, behavioral cycles, and the often-unspoken emotional pain that can drive destructive patterns. Today, she brings that insight into the therapy room, offering a space where honesty, growth, and personal responsibility are balanced with compassion and dignity.

Stephanie works with individuals who feel stuck in cycles of pornography use or compulsive sexual behavior despite repeated efforts to stop. She understands that beneath these patterns are often unresolved wounds, chronic loneliness, emotional dysregulation, or long-standing coping strategies that once served a purpose. Her work moves beyond surface-level behavior change to address the deeper emotional and psychological drivers that sustain addiction.

Her clinical style is grounded, direct, and nonjudgmental. Clients can expect clarity, structure, and meaningful challenge alongside a steady therapeutic presence that prioritizes safety and respect. Stephanie recognizes how isolating these struggles can feel and how heavy the weight of shame can become. Reaching out for support is often one of the hardest steps, and she honors the courage it takes. She works collaboratively with clients to uncover underlying drivers, strengthen emotional regulation, and build a life rooted in integrity and authenticity.

Outside of her clinical work, Stephanie prioritizes personal wellness and intentional living. She practices yoga, attends retreats, cares for her growing plant collection, and appreciates the ritual of a well-crafted cup of coffee. She believes personal balance and self-reflection are essential to being a grounded and effective therapist.

Stephanie currently practices under clinical supervision as she advances toward full licensure and continued specialization in sexual addiction treatment.
