Michael Williams MS, LPC, CSAT-C
Michael has diverse experience in the field of mental health. He has done extensive work in substance abuse, both as a caseworker and a therapist in outpatient and residential settings.
Michael has also provided individual, family, and group therapy to adolescent and adult males with substance abuse disorders, co-occurring disorders, and sexual behavior problems.
Michael Williams was born and raised in West Philadelphia.
He graduated from West Philadelphia High School and later enrolled at Cairn University. Michael Williams received his Bachelor of Science in Bible in 1994 and his Master’s of Science in Counseling in 2000.
He has also completed a second Masters degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Trauma Studies at Chestnut Hill College.
Michael is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania.
He is affiliated with the International Institute for Addiction and Trauma Professionals (IITAP).
He is also a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist candidate.
Michael has extensive work experience in providing trauma-informed therapeutic services to a variety of populations.
Michael serves as an Adjunct Professor at Eastern University in St. Davids, PA.
He has been an ordained minister and has served as an Associate Pastor at CareView Community Church located in Lansdowne, PA since 1997.
Michael currently lives in the greater Philadelphia area with his wife Carla. They have been married since 1994 and are blessed with three sons Anthony, David, and Stephen.
