Jonathan Nivar Chief of Staff
Jonathan Nivar has over 10 years of experience working in Office/Administration roles. He has worked in multi-million-dollar mental health and drug and alcohol agencies as the Intake Coordinator.
Jonathan graduated from Kutztown University in 2012, with his Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and a minor in Criminal Justice.
He has taught Life Skills groups, provided bilingual interpretation for patients, and has had extensive training on de-escalation.
He also has experience in marketing and has worked alongside various LGBTQIA+ organizations.
Jonathan excels at intakes, as he believes in meeting the patient where they are, and shares a warm and welcoming attitude to all who call in.
He provides a non-judgmental, compassionate approach creating a sense of safety for new clients, many of whom are in crisis, or have no experience with therapy.
Jonathan has a background in aiding the veteran population, people experiencing homelessness, and family support.
As the Chief of Staff at SATS, Jonathan is responsible for intake coordination, client communication, treatment coordination amongst other providers, and managing all aspects of the SATS offices.
He assists with interviews for mitigation reports and works with Dr. Weeks to aid and coordinate continuing education trainings for therapists, attorneys, and law enforcement.
